Francis Nordmann

Francis Nordmann advises clients in banking law, stock exchange law, and corporate law matters, including restructurings. In addition, Francis Nordmann advises high-net-worth individuals. Another focus of Francis Nordmann’s is legal advice relating to financial services, national and international corporate finance (including structured finance), and capital markets transactions. Moreover, Francis advises institutional and private investors as well as owners of real estate in all aspects of real estate law, including real estate financing.
Born in 1969, Francis was educated at the Universities of Zurich and Basel (lic. oec. publ., 1993; lic. iur., 1995; Dr. iur., 1996), and at the University of Melbourne (LL.M., 1999). Before joining Walder Wyss in 2001, he gained work experience as a clerk at the civil court of Basel, was a trainee in a Basel law firm, and an Associate in Zurich and London law firms.
Francis is recognized as a leading real estate practitioner by Chambers and Partners. He speaks German, English, French, and Hebrew. He is registered with the Zurich Bar Registry and admitted to practice law in all cantons of Switzerland.
